I love taking pictures while I ride on the bus around Paris. As you can see, the cafes are packing them in ...
This is a good corner for whiling away time, eating oysters and enjoying one of the best pastimes in Paris - people watching. Located on the corner of Avenue Montparnasse, right across from the famous Café Le Dome, right around the corner from the Jardin de Luxembourg.

ReplyDeleteThe buses in Paris are magnifque. A Navigo (bus and Métro pass) is a magic carpet. The buses are clean and have huge windows. With the Navigo you can get off when you see a nice café or just want to walk for a bit in a nice street. Le Dôme has a great happy hour special - 6 oysters and a glass of white wine. You can relax on the terrace and watch people hurrying home from work. And best of all you are just a short walk away from the crêperies on rue Montparnasse. Thanks for the nice image!

ReplyDeleteLooks great....hope I'll be sitting there next week! I love taking the bus in Paris...what a great way to see the city (if you're not in a hurry) and a great opportunity to chat to Parisians....well maybe I should say to 'attempt' to chat to Parisians.
